A co-production from Iran, Afghanistan, the Netherlands, and Australia, the film is vying at the Leeds Independent Directions Film Festival.
Directed by Iranian filmmaker Granaz Mousavi, the drama film tells the story of a little boy named Hewad, who lives on the streets of Kabul following the loss of his father and brother.
The 9-year-old boy starts working as a cart pusher to support his family. He enjoys doing his job everyday travelling through the capital city of Afghanistan.
He actually has a dream to become a star of cinema. His dream revives as he meets an Australian photographer.
Arafat Faiz, Elham Ayazi, Saeedeh Sadat, Fereshteh Alami, Madineh Niaz and Andrew Quilty are some of the cast members of the flick.
Organized by Leeds Young Film the festival brings together insightful events and workshops, as well as a film program of documentaries and dramas hosted on the Leeds Film Player.
Organizers will also host workshops offering career development and networking advice.
The current edition of the event kicked off on February 18 and will wrap up on March 19, 2022.
